Chances are, we’ll never forget June of 2014. It was the month we spent working tirelessly, day and night, on what we call “The Blalock House Reno.” It was a ton of fun, came out great, and we learned quite a bit along the way. Sure, we worked approximately 18 hours a day for 35 straight days, often in 105 degree weather (including maintaining our normal jobs.) But in the end, we’re proud of our accomplishment and also super proud of our daughters, Diana and Julia, who also worked right alongside us…sometimes at 6:30 am during their summer break in order to beat the heat!
